Super Stay

This is a charming little place. I was a bit hesitant since it was listed under B&B’s on Trip Advisor, but it’s more like a little Inn.

It was not busy when we were there and the very friendly person at the front desk upgraded us. That was a nice unexpected surprise. There is a spot on the main floor that serves complementary coffee, tea and cookies all day… also a nice touch and appreciated.

The complimentary continental breakfast was lovely. There was enough food there to feed an army. Yogurt, good quality OJ, breads, hot and cold cereals. I would have liked a better selection of fruit, but not a big deal. We had our breakfast on the patio. It was wonderful!! So peaceful!! The air was so fresh. Very relaxing.

The room was a good size. Comfortable bed. No iron and ironing board but when I requested one it was provided without a problem. My only negative about the room is that on their website it advertized soaker … the room we were upgraded to only had a standup shower.

That day we toured around Kimberley. I have to say, Kimberley in the summer was a bit of a sleepy town. There were some unique shops but we decided around lunchtime to move on. Had we stayed in town, we definitely would have stated at the Chateau another night, and if we return to Kimberley, we’d stay here again.
